Pros

Fellow coworkers were nice and the location of the office is good in the heart of the city.

Cons

Management is clueless when it comes to claims best practices...workload is impossible....the nepotism is ridiculous.... there is absolutely no processes in place that everyone does in a uniform manner....the dumber you are the further you may go....they LOVE to use people then fire them and the ones that don't get fired quit.

Pros

Generally nice group of coworkers.

Cons

Before I came here, I had started to write a fairly long and detailed review but as I was rereading for errors, two things hit me: 1) I wouldn't really have said much of anything different that the other negative reviews here didn't cover (which truth be told, saddened me that the issues and concerns I personally faced were so widespread and rampant in this company) and 2) ONE word could easily summarize this company and what I had written down; SHADY. At all levels, this company is shady. From the incompetent, unethical, and downright pathological liar qualities that make up the average "Manager" here to the useless HR department with their blatant lack of understanding when it comes to the basic of basics of HR policy/issues, this company is a joke. Toss in inefficient processes/technology, a company owner (not Byron Storms, the real owner sits in the real corner office in NYC) who has no real experience in the field, you got yourself a company that all but leaves you scratching your head in wonder as to how they keep the doors open or how hasn't any regulatory authority looked into this company (they'd have a field day, for sure).

Pros

The guy that bought this company several years ago is a real money maker. Virtually everything he does turns to gold, and if you are in his inner circle, you will be rewarded for your devotion. The benefits are about average, the 401k is good, and this is not the type of company that gets sold. They acquire other companies on a regular basis, which can provide many opportunities.

Cons

Don't speak your mind unless it is in agreement with what the senior managers say. The president, Byron Storms, is all about appearance, dressing nice, and being his cheerleader. He even sent an email out to the mid and upper level managers telling them to get on glassdoor and give a good rating so that he can look good. Is that leadership? The bonuses paid are sizable, if you are a senior manager. The mid levels do OK, but the real workers and supervisors get three, maybe low four figures IF they are a favorite of their manager. And the rating on your performance evaluation is not necessarily tied to your bonus. So unless you are a VP, don't get your hopes up.
