Access to resources, location downtown, large bathroom mirrors, exposure to a wide variety of customers and ability to learn all areas of insurance. Kiss a** work extremely hard, keep a low profile and you can do well

Cons

Management, HR, Parking downtown, favoritism, and promises are made for advancement rarely occurs, because it is a "new" company. Changes are made constantly, communication between upper management and general population is horrible. Changes are told to you on the drop of a dime and each manager has a different view on how it is translated. Pay is a joke compared to other companies. The idea of a reward is a balloon or a glitter email. General morale is low because management is constantly dangling your job over your head.

Pros

The office is located in downtown Winston-Salem, with access to some pretty good restaurants for lunch, but that is soon to change with the new (old building) office location in a bad part of town. Start brown-bagging it now to get used to left overs for lunch.

Cons

The CEO is arrogant, immature, and self-centered doesn't care about the employees. But neither does the owner. Senior Management is now made up of "yes" men who are afraid to contribute worthwhile feedback to improve the company. The owner is only interested in working the employees until they drop dead then kick them out like the trash.
