Not a good place to work, unorganized chaos.

Pros

Some good people at the company still remain due to their roots being in Winston Salem North Carolina. The culture down South is still family oriented but they don't trust management team in NY.

Cons

New CEO and his team are more concerned about how others perceive them rather than treating others how they want to be treated. Company has no vision and there is no long term planning. Company is being prepared for sale therefore there is a tremendous concentration on cutting expenses and laying people off. Once economy recovers people will leave in droves.

Pros

Its better than being unemployed but not by much. If you work in Winston Salem you are insulated by the daily 'beatdowns' by the family owners in NYC.

Cons

This company is all about perception. Run around like a chicken without a head and really do nothing and you will get ahead and perceived as a hard worker. On the other hand if you bust your tail with your nose to grindstone you will be perceived as a slacker. The new CEO leadership team is all fluff and no substance. Owner of company is old and ornery and needs to get out the way of the day to day operations.
