Pros

The federal government is an unproductive jobs program, perhaps you like that. NGA uses diversity, equity and inclusion in every missive, but I don't know if anything substantial ever happens.

Cons

a completely inane promotion process cronyism and nepotism inept leadership abysmal management unqualified personnel in leadership positions

You get a job at the end of it Pay is good You get to live near D.C.

Cons

Work is boring They just want to recruit you for full time If you have a really technical major(I was Computer Science) then be prepared to explain relatively simple topics to professionals who should have already known more You don't do much
