Pros

The environment is lax and casual.

Cons

I see some individuals who are not pulling their share of work, and it is regarded as the norm. It is unfortunate that they cannot be fired because they are in the union.

Pros

Good balance between work and leisure. Flexible work schedules such as work 4 days a week or an option to work from home. Very late nights and weekends. Company is very supportive in making sure people go to industry conferences.

Cons

Limited opportunities for advancement - time based promotions. Little to no ducmentation for new hires to learn. There is not much sharing of insitutional information.
