Overall good company but culture has changed a lot in recent years.

Pros

Generally a good work life balance aside from certain busy times of the year.

Cons

Company could stand to have more flexible work policies. They seem a bit antiquated in that regard (flexible schedules, remote work options, etc.). There has been a lot of change since the long time CEO left a few years ago, and the culture is definitely not what it used to be. They only seem concerned with the bottom line.

Pros

Amazing colleagues, flexible working hours, lots of interesting opportunities, lots of responsibility early on if you exceed the baseline job expectations.

Cons

Pay could be higher, there's lot of constant change, official company culture has reduced in recent years.

Used to be a great place to work

Pros

Surrounded by Smart people, Dynamic work environment

Cons

Culture and Core values were the company's most important assets. Unfortunately these are disappearing day after day. When I joined, National Instruments was driven by innovation. Today the only interest today seems to be reducing operating expenses and at whatever cost. No matter what you do, you're seen as a number.
