This company has an identity crisis. It loves to tout the non-profit banner (just look at any marketing campaign they put out), however, anyone that has been employed as a manager or director will tell you this company is run just like a FOR-PROFIT. As for the wages at this company, there is a large gap between the haves and the have-nots. The starting pay for advisors is equal to working in fast-food, only with fast-food jobs, you are not required to have a bachelors degree. The C-level management leverages the non-profit status. Just look at their marketing campaigns ("Not for Profit, All for Students"), however, they themselves, will openly announce in regional meetings (training meetings for managers/directors), that the school is a FOR-PROFIT. In other words, it is expected that all centers will enroll as many students as possible. We have been told to register students that were clearly not interested in attending school. This practice would take place when centers did not meet the growth expectations. At the end of the month and end of the year, Enrollment Management would reach out to individual centers and strongly instruct advisors to enroll applicants. Many of these applications were people just looking for information and stated they were not interested in attending school. There is a constant threat of termination if numbers are not met by advisors. Recruiters are told their very jobs depend on bringing in large numbers of students. I would only recommend this company for employment if you literally have no other options.

Not enough room. NO communication, low pay, career path. Poor managers with no training! NO voice =staff. . Can NO's have unions? Favoritism. After education is achieved there is no career path and people are forced to leave to further their careers and take care of their families!
