Pros

I have friends who love it here, but they have good supervisors. That's the key to longevity and happiness at Nationwide.

Cons

Schedule flexibility is extremely lacking in my dept. I can't get a day off 1 month out. Also, their occurrence policy is completely absurd and encourages you to lie to your supervisor if you have a child out ill. Also, their salaries are not as good in comparison to other insurance companies in the area.

Pros

The office I worked in had some the nicest people to work with really enjoyed my time with those people. Benefits where in general pretty standard for a companies of it's size.

Cons

Was not located in Columbus, it seemed like many options, perks, employment advancement where only available to the main campus or other large offices. My office was a small service requirement and there was cloud of corporate bias against this type of location.
