Pros

Respectable company with decent benefits, just very boring work for me. I would have hours of down time where I simply sat at my desk waiting for a manager to bring me work or tell me where to go. I would finish my work for the day before lunch, then spend much of my afternoon time standing at the manager's desk asking for more work, which became bothersome to the both of us.

Cons

Not enough work, made the days seem long. It was a great company to work for, but for my personality, I did not enjoy most of my time there.

Pros

In general, the people who work for the company are great people- fun and caring. Pay is decent.

Cons

Total benefit package is not great and getting worse as the company further cuts the health insurance options it provides its employees. Morale is very low company-wide; the company is consolidating some functions resulting in lost jobs in certain areas. Bureaucracy is ingrained in the corporate culture. Many levels of management means even the smallest changes don't get completed. The computer system the employees use is ancient (DOS-based).

Pros

The benefits were good, and they are good, at least they were in my department with work/life issues. The managment was generaly good. There were quite a few departments that offered varied hours for those that do not like the Mon-Fri weekends off schedule.

Cons

Way to much need for the "Four year degree" to really be considered for advancement. Way too much changing, as far as the way things should be done, we barely had time to get used to one policy before in was changed, this was mainly the case when it came to how to answer the phone, or how to process somthing. They need to remember that we humans are creatures of habit, and it it isnt broke. couldnt we just leave it?
