Pros

First off, I work as a software engineer. We have a very relaxed workplace. We use industry standard tools, which means I very rarely have to work on something I can't use on another project/job. Also, I don't have to spend time writing stuff that already exists, is better tested, and also already free. Nationwide's infrastructure team is hands down the best I've ever experienced. Releases happen on very well coordinated schedules with plenty of support people on call. Both management and IT are both supportive in allowing me to try new tools to help get my work done. The gym is also super handy; I use it every day. Lots of opportunities available.

Cons

Can be slower paced than other places. Salary slightly below other places.
