Pros
Somewhat flexible schedule... you can leave the store for awhile on slow days, and be done for the day near 3pm.
Cons
Commission only. ONLY. If you want an off day and to not work seven days a week, you have to hire a assistant, usually paid between $10-$11 an hour, but their hourly pay comes out of your pay. So there are some managers that only take one day off a week just to have a decent paycheck. During holidays like valentines you’ll end up working 14-16 hours a day for 4-5 days straight. NO opportunities for growth past a sales manager. NO increase in commission percentages ever. You have to use your personal cell phone as your work number - which means you have Costco members calling you 24/7 to place orders and they get extremely irritated when you aren’t Available to answer at 9pm when the store is closed and you’re at home.
