Pros

-If you like unregulated Nutritional Supplements and Pyramid Schemes, this company is for you; thats there only customers! -Good bonus program, if you are an executive. -Good vacation, and holiday shutdown for forced 2-3 weeks off around Christmas -Newly renovated office -No micromanagement, due to management rarely being around. (CEO lives out of state, COO rarely in office more than 30 hours per week, CFO rarely more than 20 hours per week)

Cons

-The pyramid scheme/Multiple Level Marketing customers are very volatile, unpredictable, and at some point will be (and should be) regulated out of existence. -For such a small company, 3 Chief Executives is very bizarre, with a CEO, COO, and CFO; that are all buddy-buddy and don't listen to anyone else and throw other members of management under the bus seemingly for fun. -Management is given budgets and forecasts by departments and CFO fudges budgets and forecasts to whatever he wants them to be, often with no sense of reality. This also leads to over-hiring for positions, and annual layoffs. See also volatility of stock price. -Low number of customers, and potential new business repeatedly lost due to easily avoidable qualify control issues. -No diversity, exclusively white males in senior management. Women don't pass middle management and very few minorities are hired outside of manufacturing. -When asking for help from absentee senior management, emails and voicemails often go unreturned.

Antagonistic Environment

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Flexible Work schedule and ability to interact with colleagues and clients

Cons

Very antagonistic environment. Constant infighting between departments. Bitter and angry spirit of work. Company has the ability to thrive, but for some odd reason they channel all of their resources and energy toward initiating conflict with anyone who is not angry. It is a very strange environment to try and strive in. It is not the type of environment that you can make progress in.

Culture of Indifference

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Great stepping stone for a lab based career.

Cons

-Management does not care about properly compensating employees, especially the ones who have been around the longest -Culture of indifference: the only important thing is who made the mistake, not fixing it -Adversarial attitudes: QA and QC spend all day pointing fingers and trying to catch one another in mistakes. It is very childish and makes working here tedious and unprofessional -Ownership loves to pat themselves on the back despite poor decisions leading to worse quality of life for their employees
