Pros

The CEO (David Johnson) is dynamic, energetic, and very personable; the company is growing, becoming a leader in the mental health community in Seattle with the additions of the programs at Ruth Dykeman Children's Services and others.

Cons

The lack of adequate communication between the various programs; low attendance at all staff meetings.

Pros

The team I work with (child, youth, and family) is supportive and energetic. I think many people at Navos stay for their colleagues. People (including myself) also stay for our clients and wanting to help support vulnerable people.

Cons

It's community mental health. The pay is low (though every clinical staff recently got a bump), the training is minimal, and the work is challenging.

Pros

Great group of people who share the same mission. Its wonderful to see staff and clients all so engaged daily. Navos is truly very committed to living according to its mission statement.

Cons

Always have something going on in efforts to support the clients (bake sales) I must confess its hard not to always give in to tasty treats:)
