      Good insurance and beautiful campus

      Cons

      Ive worked for this company many years. Once Cutler retired, the organization has drastically changed. Once focused on employee empowerment and member service, the only thing NFCU cares about now is profit and "data". Lower management in lending is extremely toxic and operates on the buddy system. Instead of promoting from within the department, they hire from outside. Supervisors cannot even work a basic application and the bulk of all the work is shoved on tenured employees.

      Benefits & ability to work in a hybrid environment

      Cons

      Lack of structure, lack of decent procedures for processes, do not care for the work/life balance.. no matter how much they say they do.

      Resource heavy. Can always rely on support through HQ

      Cons

      Unable to advance in Branch. Micromanaging. Understaffing and disallowance of extra billets. Lack of accountability.
