Pros

Benefits; Medical, Retirement, Pension are amazing.

Cons

At first I loved my job, the company, and management. NFCU has never had a layoff. The con of that is that they had many of us doing so much extra. It became so toxic that so many of us that spoke up got pushed out. The work load, the changes, the threats from management were so insane I ended up having to take FMLA to try and just function as a person. I hope things have improved for those who stayed. They only want Yes people. Anyone who voiced concerns, opinions, were shunned and pushed out.

Pros

Pension, hybrid work from home

Cons

Do not get sucked into the call center under any circumstances. If they get you into the call center, they want you to become an MSR I, II, III, IV, Mentor and then Supervisor. They do not want you to ever leave the call center. In most departments, the phone is ringing 24/7/365. They need bodies to answer phones and that’s all they will want from you. They will not let you out of the call center, I promise you. You will have to quit and reapply for some other job outside of the call center because they will not let you get out.
