Pros
I recently started as a TPM at Nebius and so far, I'm greatly impressed with my team. They are all extremely talented engineers, and they've been very welcoming and helpful during my onboarding. I was a bit hesitant to join due to Nebius being split from Yandex. However within the first few days I observed how serious they are about being a separate entity, and have extremely strict IT policies related to the former company. What I've observed is that the company is staffed with the top tier engineers, mostly ex-Yandex, and the company is working hard to become more international.
Cons
A lot of older documentation and slack threads are in Russian. It takes a little bit of time to translate these to understand the context. A few minor challenges with language barriers. If you are a native English speaker, just be aware of idioms and try to minimize them for clarity.
