Pros

Pay is lucrative if you work for it. Takes putting in the time, but if you have a work ethic you can thrive here and make a great income.

Cons

Current member of executive management is running off good, dedicated employees. Employee treatment by the specific person is cold, hateful, and demeaning. It’s been reported by each person who’s left because of it and then it happens again and seems to escalate more. Watching good employees, friends, and high performers leave due to harsh interactions has been hard to watch.

The company is good. They provide great training and benefits etc are great. Remote and flexible truly.

Cons

If you get the loan officer position they will put you in a role called the “home buying specialist” to make you originate loans by calling leads all day and then put numbers on your other you have to hit. Also if you are gonna quit DONT QUIT by actually telling them or they won’t pay you out PTO or anything. Just quit silently with low production and let them fire you. I learned this the hard way trying to do things the right way lol

Benefits and culture are great. Training is very good. Never cold calling leads.

Cons

Nearly impossible to bonus if you are not a team lead. This is not a $50k/year job. Others in the office are making $130k+ and doing less work. I don't recall the last time I saw a team lead pull a lead or do any origination.
