Pros

- Advancement - A culture that cares about their employees - Remote, yet they keep it fun - Good benefits - Flexible scheduling that understands work/life balance.

Cons

Honestly, I don't think there are any in my opinion. Sometimes the work gets overwhelming but I have never worked at a company that had my back like NB does and because of that, I'm okay with the workload.

Everything that was promised to me during the interview process has been delivered on. You get to work with phenomenal co-workers everyday and get a level of support from management that I have never experienced before.

Cons

Need to be able to grasp new concepts quickly, be adaptable and bring your top level of work everyday.

Pros

The culture at Neighbor's Bank is one unlike I have seen anywhere else. Neighbor's Bank genuinely cares about the employees that work for them but takes it one step further by caring about their families as well. After only working for a few weeks a survey was sent out asking about how we like to be shown appreciation for our work, when our birthday/anniversary is, and the types of snacks/presents we like to receive. The survey also asked about our families, their birthdays, and interests. After being here for less than 2 months my daughter received a birthday card in the mail and thought it was so neat that my "job" cared enough to send her a card. The community at Neighbors Bank is the opposite of what you would expect in an environment where bonuses are based off of performance. Having previous jobs where bonuses were based off of performance I did not expect the community to be one where we cheer for each other, help one another on a regular basis, and everyone is so kind. The amazing community here has led to me forming friendships with many of my co-workers even though I work remotely. We check in on one another, and are always excited to cheer for the other when a new milestone is met. Our trainer was AMAZING! He made our small group learning environment fun to be part of, engaging, and incorporated plenty of games/breaks throughout our training phase. Great leadership and trainers who care about the wellbeing of new employees are vital to the success of newbies and Neighbors Bank nails it! The pay is amazing, and signing up for benefits was super easy. The benefits team was happy to answer all of my questions, and assist with the paperwork process. It's also refreshing to see that there is room for growth and that advancing with in the company is actively encouraged by management. I'm glad that I found Neighbors Bank and can honestly say that it's a rare find to work at a company with such a great culture, amazing pay, great benefits, and the opportunity for growth.

Cons

The hiring process is lengthy and does take a long time to get through with many interviews, lots of paperwork, and a brief waiting period after you are selected. After I was hired I learned that it was because they had the tedious task of wading through thousands of applications and narrowing them down to the best candidates. It is however, 100% worth the wait to be part of the Neighbors Bank family.
