Work life balance was good, unsure if it’s because I had a good reputation and was allowed the freedom or because I had firm boundaries.
Cons
Internal hires typically get below industry standard salaries as they get promoted, unless they’re highly favored and are of the preferred demographic. An external hire with less experience than me, made $30k more than I did at the same role, same start month.
