Ok place to build your resume but not to stay as a career

Pros

interesting work-supervisors and senior scientists are genuinely helpful to teach the younger scientists "the ropes" of applied science and product development

Cons

low salary - many of the younger scientists leave because salary is not sufficient to cover school debt and other standard debt obligations.

Pros

Good place to go after school to gain enough experience to get a new job somewhere else. Flexible schedule, you don't have to be there at a specific time.

Cons

Pay is below average. You can go from having nothing to do to not having enough people and being extremely busy. Lab techs are not guaranteed holidays and have to come in a lot of holidays to cover. Management does not care about how their employees feel about situations or address problems.

Pros

Generous holidays, there's really no other positive things to say about Neogen. This place is a really terrible place to work for.

Cons

Compensation is terrible, management does not know what they are doing or what is going on. Management does not hire the best person for the job, the promote friends or sycophants. This entire place is backwards and they've got a nice view of their rectums.
