Pays for rent and as long as I do what I am told even if dishonest I will have job.

Cons

You can only move up if you do certain favors for management. HR is not helpful. #metoo..you would think they would learn. Lots of turnover due to lack of support . At another location A family member wrote a negative review to help us improve. Corporate had the review removed from the website instead of bettering the company.

The Promises Made Do Not Match the Reality

Pros

It is true that the need for this industry is great, and pre-need sounded very promising in terms of being able to provide a valuable service. Lots of leads for free.

Cons

Salary promises are unrealistic, training is spotty and unstructured. Leads are old, old, old. Many have been hammered, lots of disconnected numbers. Management unprepared.

At Neptune Society our sales representatives enjoy a performance based pay structure with unlimited earning potential. The company does not cap the income potential of our sales team. The most successful sales representatives in the company are able to network in the communities and self-generate appointments in addition to utilizing the company provided leads. Although we do maintain an employee-based management structure on the sales side, we seek outside sales representatives that are hardworking and self-motivated and able to work independently within their market.

Pros

I worked OT and saved up for a couple of years and then quit to work for less somewhere with better work conditions. Everyone I know that values their mental health did the same. Neptune continues to try to combat this turnover with offering more money instead of changing their policies and work environment. They make more money tho so it's still more profitable to throw money at problems then fix what's causing it. You can't put a price on ethics.
