Pros

free coffee, decent benefits, hybrid work schedule, and location.

Cons

If you're an experienced marketer who enjoys collaborating with people and, at the same time taking ownership of projects and developing strategies, do not bother joining this organization, especially the brand team. Decision-making primarily rests with top management, relegating team members to merely receiving instructions. There's limited opportunity to express your perspectives, the work culture is absolutely toxic, unhealthy, and characterized by fear. The atmosphere is hostile, lacking collaboration, and management exhibits a strong desire for control, resorting to micromanagement as the norm. Perfect job if you just want to collect a check and have a burnout in the end. This company has historically prospered, shielded by a patent that’s over, and is now scrambling to meet Nestlé's demanding targets with the new coffee system (which has no resonance in Europe btw). Unfortunately, the Brand team lacks consumer understanding and there is zero interest in developing consumer-centric communications. Their focus is solely on building a luxury brand, which seems incongruent with the prevalence of promotions and 1 euro machines that markets sell online. Additionally, much of your time will be spent justifying every decision and preparing presentations, subject to scrutiny from multiple managers – which they collaborate with nothing, but always have something to say. Ultimately, it's a recipe for burnout. If you consider yourself a good marketer, your talents may be better utilized elsewhere.
