Hello Nespresso Coffee Specialist, I am glad you enjoyed our coffee, and had a positive experience working with our customers. To address your feedback about appreciation, I’d like to mention that our Real Recognition program is designed for peer and leadership recognition where employees can earn valuable rewards. Additionally, we provide numerous opportunities throughout the year for our leadership to recognize and announce employee performance and team successes, in fact, we recently launched a new internal social media platform to engage and recognize employees across all of Nespresso USA. All my best, Guillaume Le Cunff President & CEO, Nespresso USA

Pros

-Awesome coffee credit -two free machines -the coffee and the product are genuinely good stuff -interesting backstories behind the design of capsules and where the coffee comes from

Cons

-Poor work life balance - poor communication through management - always short staffed - dates for coffee releases/promos are always shifted - favoritism. Essentially no way to move up unless you’re in with someone else

Dear Former Nespresso Employee, Thanks for sharing your views. You are correct, the benefits at Nespresso USA are outstanding, and besides those you listed, we are proud to offer a competitive benefits program and excellent perks. It’s great to read that you enjoyed learning about our Nespresso coffees. Employees can then take this rewarding information to our customers who learn directly from our team of amazing coffee specialists. I would like to touch on a few of your points if I may and offer some healthy remarks: Work life balance is of crucial importance at Nespresso USA, I am open to hear more about what you may have experienced and ways to improve. We appreciate the hard work each employee dedicates to make our company so successful. Regarding communications, teams receive numerous communications via email, newsletters, status updates, live store visits and trainings as well as from managerial posts on our new Workplace platform. The trips we offer our employees to visit Nespresso coffee farms are incredible ways to communicate and learn from each other. Additionally, we continue to pursue forms of communications for all our channels. Regarding coffee release dates, I’m sure you are aware our masterful coffees are shipped direct from our plant in Switzerland to US distribution centers for immediate sale and release. No doubt, once in a while there could be a slight delay in shipping, however, I am not aware of any recent promotional shifts and our teams have been on target during all the crucial sales periods. I don’t believe stating our promos are “always” shifted is accurate. Lastly, we strive to develop and promote our talent from within. The internal transfer and promotion rate for salaried employees last year was 70% and hourly employee rate scored high as well, this is quite significant! Instead of ‘favoritism’ or being ‘in with someone’ what is vital, is outstanding performance ratings, manager recommendations as well as your own career aspirations that are reviewed on your personal development report. Each day, I am so proud to work with winning team members and we continue to build professional and key talent. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me direct should you wish to continue these discussions. Take care, Guilaume Le Cunff President & CEO, Nespresso USA

Pros

-Two free machines a year -$300 Credit to use towards coffee, machines and accessories stacked with a discount -PT 30 positions get benefits

Cons

-BE SICK-BEWARE the point system. If you're ill even with a note from a doctor recommending you to stay home or in hospital you WILL collect points against you for being sick leading to your termination. (Policy says doctors notes not accepted) -Not many options to move up -Company is very inconsistent with policies or coffee releases, pretty much nothing is certain -NESSOFT the software used is used by all the boutiques and it freezes and is so slow -Outdated payment system (seperate credit card system from POS and no split payments with cash and card)

Dear Boutique Coffee Specialist, We are proud to offer competitive benefit programs and great perks to our employees besides those you listed we have numerous others; trips to coffee farms and much more. We value your opinion, however, I would like to list some healthy feedback and disagreement to your posting. With new technologies in place for 2019, we are certain our software programs will have stronger capabilities and accommodate prompt service within our boutiques. As Club Members are our top priority, we want to ensure the best possible experience. Our people are key to our success, and many of our employees have grown with us. I encourage you to reach out to your HR Manager to discuss your career aspirations, also, was this listed on your Personal Development Goal report? We strive to develop and promote our talent from within. The internal transfer and promotion rate for salaried employees last year was 70%, which is a big success. Hourly employee promotion rate scored high as well. Regarding doctor’s notes and sick policy, I suggest all employees check with their HR Manager. Please reach out directly to me if you would like to discuss further, happy to listen. My best regards, Guillaume Le Cunff President & CEO, Nespresso USA
