Pros
Organization is always working to improve, this can feel slow, it’s a large organization with many who have autonomy, it is imperative that thoughtful change take place, input sought, planning, review results and repeat.
Keeping autonomy and consistency is tough and it is endeavored daily here.
Multiple committees with input from all roles drive very real initiatives, encouraging and supporting Women, bringing awareness and support to diversity, as an example. These committees have sponsorship and participation from ownership and executive. The emotional, financial efforts aren’t lip service, actual change is being driven.
Where you work is a choice, if you are looking for a workplace with amazing coworkers, dedicate your energy to improving results for customers, plan to make a real contribution, listen and be heard this may be the place for you.
The salary and benefits are personal and often take a back seat to why employees stay ultimately.
These seem competitive to me.
I plan to retire here.
Cons
Change takes time, no different here, understanding the process is key. Fast change usually means wholesale change are frequent, I’ll take slower instead.
Learning to manage competing priorities is a skill most require here.
