Management Needs Work

Pros

There used to be some good, strong people there. It seems most are no longer there. They have either been made to leave because they don't agree with c-level management or someone that has been there forever or they have left of their accord.

Cons

Zero employee satisfaction. Management wants a workforce that does as they are told. Don't rock the boat because you will not last long.

Insight of Net@Work

Pros

Net@Work is very driven to be the best IT/ERP consulting firm. In recent years, they have invested in their infrastructure to support their employees. Their sales & marketing department is led by two top notch executives. Great place to be if you are a seasoned sales executive wanting to offer a variety of products and services to your contacts/prospects/customers. Experienced consultants and a pleasure to work with. Always having the customer in mind first. The management team is very committed. Co-Presidents are very good leaders. They empower their management team to make decisions and act as advisers when needed.

Cons

Response times by a select group of individuals must be improved to increase efficiency. It also creates some unjust finger pointing. Compensation package varies depending on position/experience. They need to shore up this area to avoid a decrease in employee moral.

Pros

You can get some flexibility to balance life. Most co-workers are super friendly

Cons

The higher management don’t have a certain direction to go. The employee reviews and goal setting are useless. Everything is in secret. Information is extremely restricted even like changing seats. Workflow is ineffective. The process is repeated unnecessarily because of the unprofessional management. They tell you what to do instead of what we need to achieve so there is no space for employee to try to improve the process. If they make mistake they blame employees. Managers are afraid of taking responsibility. If there is something goes wrong, some manager’s first response is finding a employee to blame instead of fixing the problem. There is no chance to negotiate the salary or bonus. Once you join the company, you have whatever they gave you.

Excellent place for Junior no for Sr Engineers

Pros

Excellent place to gain experience as a Junior Engineer. > Facing a lot technology challenges, troubleshooting, analysis and design Have to deal with different vendors at the same time > Learn best practices from vendors on infrastructure design and deployments > Have to learn how to time management and to communicate effectively All of that will help you to become a better professional.

Cons

Lack of a solid business structure and daily operation. Engineers > Some engineers get micro manage daily > Little room for advancement after reaching certain level of experience to work on advance projects > Some engineers work as silos > There is no a dedicated support team to deal with Helpdesk tasks Mid-management: > does not lead with determination, constantly depending/asking Engineers for suggestions on how to change/proceed the way business is running. > lack of technical leadership, double guessing Engineers on technical recommendations Upper management > Little or almost no attention to daily operation processes, or the level of discomfort experience by engineers. It just pay attention to revenues at each quota > Little trust on the level of professionalism, work ethic, and technical experience of the engineers to get to the next level of a IT consulting company Sales/Account managers > No technical experience on the field to bring into the table thus asking a lot technical questions to engineers on how to proceed with a sale > Use too many products to present to potential clients, instead on focusing on 2-3 vendors on each area of Information Systems > No templates/blueprint on how to sale the line of products

Pros

I worked with alot of good people, unfortunately turn over was high. Understaffed...I cant comment how the work atmoshpere is currently; but I hope its gotten better.

Cons

Management was good to me personally ....however there were more people in mid management who thought they were the owners and treat people how they liked. (I guess its not too much of a con since they no longer work there). I was approached by HR(who also is no longer there) to put in a good rating on this site after they had a few unpleasant reviews...so that's all I will say about that.

Pros

No one pays attention, people just do what they want.

Cons

You will find out your real job after you get hired. Trying to learn your job is impossible. Finger pointing blame game. Will talk about change but its a lie, don't want change. Lots of turnover. Stayed alive buying dying companies not earning new customers. Management controls but won't manage.

Pros

Some of my team members are the best people I have worked with. you get to work with some new cool technology.

Cons

Fake positive reviews! Micromanagement to the point of being psychotic. Management wants to know "to the minute" what your are doing but then can't remember anything at then end of the conversation. Only concerned with making money. Don't care about customers at all. Overcharge for everything. Horrible health insurance. Cost over $1000 out of pocket for a CT scan. I get so angry and frustrated that I find myself pacing and talking to myself. I have to get out ASAP before I go completely INSANE.
