Pros

Positive, generally collaborative work environment. There is a strong focus on making this an excellent company to work for. Tremendous pride in the quality and competitiveness of its products and services.

Cons

At $5B+ in revenue, the company has build a lot of infrastructure, which tends to keep it from being as nimble as it ought to be. This is a typical growing pain that afflicts organizations of this size, though, and will likely work itself out with continued growth.

Nice people - cafeteria food is sort of nice I guess

Cons

A lot of talk of strategy and values but execution is totally stuck - right now there is complete panic and fear and too many controls to succeed- teams that could collaborate together are not - loosing people rapidly and the good ones staying behind are not getting any salary increases - bad bad

Pros

Great top level leadership and by and large a skilled workforce. Generally paid well. Has great cultural roots. Executive management is highly focused on great culture. At some point it just stopped to translate down the ranks. Some of the smartest people I've ever worked with. Exciting technology space.

Cons

Somewhere the company strayed from its path. The management layer just below the X suite failed to live the culture and set some wrong examples. Lots of petty battles. Gradually loosing technology leadership. Some fear of taking moon shots and incubating new ideas with the start up mentality the company used to have.
