      Pros

      Some departments are great and still live the culture NetApp was once known for, while others are overworked, understaffed.

      Cons

      Understaffed, overworked. Processes seem a bit outdated.

      Brand in denial

      Pros

      There are still good people working here, but as each day passes, those numbers become fewer and fewer. The week of volunteer time off is great.

      Cons

      They are losing their best sales talent, and then telling partners NetApp is better to be rid of them. All of 2014 Club winners have left the Central region, and turnover is out of control, specifically because the RD is a terror. They are no longer focused on strategic relationships (although they insist on and preach the contrary) but merely generating revenue at any cost. This includes bullying customers and sales reps. The end is nigh.

      Pros

      I've been a NetApp employee for more than 10 years. In that time we've been through a lot as a company and most of it has been positive. During the Warmenhoven era, the company had a family feel. Georgens changed that and we became overly beholden to Wall St. I think we may be back on track with Kurian, assuming it's not too late! The culture remains strong in the RTP office. I can't say much about the other major locations.

      Cons

      Leadership is strong in engineering, but other areas could use some help.
