Few perks beyond the expected - no big parties, individual contributors always fly economy even for long haul trips, the company is always trying to save money even when they do well, no recognition for long term employees such as reaching 5 years or 10 years.

There are some senior managers who seem to be working for themselves and not the company. In particular there has been a lot of 'hiring my incompetent buddies who will say yes to everything that I want' behavior around the hardware focused groups. We see long-time high achieving employees leave or forced out to be immediately replaced by the VP's buddies who then instantly fall in line with a vision that does not appear to be in the best long-term interests of the company. We've reached a point where challenging anything earns a ticket to the unemployment line.
