Worst work-life balance — Unrealistic expectations and no respect for personal boundaries. Frequent layoffs — Constant restructuring and job cuts create an environment of fear and instability. Ineffective and confused leadership — No clear vision, poor execution, and strategy changes every few months. Toxic work culture — Blame-shifting, micromanagement, and zero team collaboration. Self-serving managers — Leads often throw their teams under the bus to protect themselves. Outdated mindset — Managers and long-timers actively resist adopting new technologies or modern practices. Poor compensation and negligible hikes — No meaningful raises in years, well below industry standards. Chaotic policy shifts — Frequent and inconsistent policy changes create unnecessary stress and confusion. No transparency — Leadership makes decisions behind closed doors with little to no communication. Stagnant career growth — Minimal opportunities for skill development or advancement. Would not recommend — I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Stay away unless you have no other option.

Layoffs were constantly on your mind. It finally happened to me even though I exceeded all of my revenue based KPI. Wasn't personal for sure but they are a public company so they do public company things.

NetApp stopped promoting from within, especially upper management positions. This has been killing the culture for years now. New people, like at a VP level, will come in and fire 20+ year employees that are driving critical work and then turn around and promote managers to directors to get their allegiance. Not a company that you're likely to work at for more than 10 years because when layoffs happen they target the senior people.
