Org changes happens through out the year

Upper management is unaware of workload

There are too many layoffs, negligible hiring, every team is stretched, work hours are extremely unreasonable, and projects are still being delivered at the cost of work-life balance. Few those who slog shoulder the burden almost always there are some who are just enjoying the ride, managers and management has no knowledge of technology, and a company which stands out in that its Technical Directors almost always lack technical depth. Found one TD who was worth his years others are all just waiting for retirement or layoff enjoying the high pay.

Netapp use to be an outstanding place to work. I have 8yrs invested and the culture seemed to change overnight with weird behaviors and comp plans changing repeatedly. also, someone in a recent review made a comment about leadership not being open to opinions - they will tell you what your opinions are. so true- we had a company wide *anonymous* employee satisfaction survey and our manager provided the feedback (with actual quotes of what team members said) then told us it was wrong to think that! lol.

Managers that micromanage US manager that only see US tunnel vision No roadmap provided by leadership Leadership specifically say - My door is always open but.. when asked for meeting - you must schedule with assistant... Leadership not willing to move with times when it comes to new tech or ways forward

If you get good manager you are going to go ahead

Well, if you hire old school managers from dinosaurs and focus just on diversity, it will get more difficult. Strategy partly ok.

Periodic layoffs is common which is a down thing regarding job security.
