For senior flight crews the pay is reasonable and the quality of time at home is very good. Good insurance and 401 K

Cons

The management has beaten the pride out of the flight crews over the years.... Senior and middle management view the flight crews and maintenance personnel as annoyances....pay and advancement are moving in a negative direction compared with other aviation segments.

Pros

No commute. Stable. Great benefits. Dynamic and challenging schedules. Mature safety culture. Decent schedule an vacation options. Medical insurance is very good... free.

Cons

Hard to plan the workweek if that’s a priority. Always changing sleep schedules. Fixed on replacing aircraft and no growth until replacements completed years from now (anemic leadership). No clear strategy on putting competitive hurt on competitive pressures domestic and international. Ie NJ China was a complete disaster and avoidable. A broader cultural perspective other than that of Columbus, OH is needed to instill an grow international relationships. Fitst Offficet Pay is low. Age 65 retirement is needed. Scheduling work rules for 135/91K are needed. No defined contribution retirement plan... only 401K.
