Out of touch leadership

Pros

Good product, good benefits, remote work is great

Cons

Senior sales leadership hasn’t sold their own product in years and they have zero understanding of the day to day of their employees to the point of getting in their way. I have consistently seen sales people be promised better salaries, but not be rewarded when they deliver actual results. High turnover, yet company hasn’t grown in 20 years has led to frustrated employees when they can’t be promoted and receive annual raises less than inflation.

Pros

-learning the entire sales process makes advancement within the company achievable -great starting point in sales -recently given the chance to make *more* in monthly commissions -good benefit package -Austin office is small and friendly so you can ask anyone for help or advice easily -the sales director and senior AEs are very approachable and always make themselves available to answer questions -positive atmosphere and culture -not super loud like huge sales floors are -great work/life balance -you get to work in a really cool area of Austin--lots of history and fun things to do (and wonderful places to eat lunch)!

Cons

-the location of my parking spot is not the safest, but it's close to the office and I'll hopefully have a new one eventually (many offices in Austin don't even offer parking so I'm still grateful for it!)
