Company knows what its goals are and communicates that fairly well to employees.

Cons

NetSuite approached me while I was still employed at another company. Interview, background check and hiring process were super fast. Once I started, hiring manager tolerated me for 2 weeks and then the insults started. Very passive aggressive behavior. Manager never clearly told me what issues he had with me. Threw me under the bus several times with upper management. I resigned. Not a good place for working moms either. Upper management doesn't care for the worker bees. All they want to do is make themselves look good. I still hear horror stories from ex-colleagues.

Great place to start a career but not so much for experienced hire

- Excellent training program for inside sales reps - Promotion and responsibility comes quickly - Huge customer base with lots of "hot" tech names - Great partner ecosystem - Enthusiastic, intelligent employee base - Best solution for a SMB - Software works

Cons

- Bait and switch for experienced hires... you will not make the type of money they advertise here - Not up to OTE standards of every other software company out there - Trying to go upmarket (companies > $1B) but no where close to being able to support it, either from a function perspective or from a performance perspective - A bit of a culture clash between the legacy sales people who relied on inbound leads and new sales who are outbound focused - Growth isn't sustainable since upmarket competition is strong and spending continues to exceed revenue so a missed quarter is going to be traumatic - Not an innovative company

You have to learn by working on projects, lots of work for you, which means lots of learning! Don't reply on your senior to hand hold you, you must be smart and working hard to survive!

Cons

There is no career path for good consultant, you will have to leave to earn some attention for a raise or promotion.
