Pros

Work life balance is good. Less work pressure. Core team is good to work SDN/NFV. They have free shuttles for commuting.

Cons

1. The salary hike cycle here is September 2. No good dev projects to work 3. HR, Admin team is worst. They are just for namesake 4. Few managers asking employees why they have uploaded resume in job sites, seriously is it the professional way. Pune QA team experienced it 5. Freshers or laterals don’t join to ruin your career here.

Pros

somewhat ok salary for a product based company, good for non-technical QAs, BAs and anyone who will be satisfied with mediocrity.

Cons

cons are strictly restricted to developers : 1. Not a fortune 500 company like oracle or amazon, so you'll not have that 'brand' value, they dont have their own office either, just 2 floors of one building. 2. Skill development will be absent. most of what you will learn here restricts to internal netcracker specific framework. 3. product training is absent. even after years of exp, you will not know fully how things work internally. 4. teamwork and mentorship is absent, only induvidual work is rated, so people tend to get selfish and dont share knowledge. this leads to point 2. 5. some unskilled managers get super high salaries , contribute nothing but only boss around, this can be discouraging. 6. these same people expect performance and pressurize, but they dont understand that dev has to deal with point 2 & 3 7. less skilled QAs and BAs sometimes dictate work flow and terms to devs, this can be discouraging. 8. Russians, who have done most development, capture quality work for themselves, and also have poor english - obtaining knowledge from them is difficult, hence point 2 & 3. 9. growth of technical skills will be stagnant, so if you work here for a pretty long time, you will have to continue the same till the end of your career, and be content with less. 10. use of outdated technologies like GWT & EJBs, and latest like angular, nodejs are literally absent. Last but not the least, not all is wrong here, in fact it is a good place for 35+ family men, just laze and boss around your subords , theyll perform well and you receive promotion, what an idea sir ! So , passionate devs, leave sooner, the better or you'll be stuck here!
