      Smart people but robot-like management style, no transparency of decision from management

      Pros

      - smart people at the director and VP level across Sales, SE, product management - innovative technology, an army of engineers in Russia, Ukraine - they got money! wealthy parent company to back its M&A and huge marketing expenses

      Cons

      - high-pressured sales organization and not much invest in real R&D - the only career path is being a salesperson, SELL, SELL, SELL. Pls forget other role in your career. - CEO thinks his way is always right. Doubt any management really accept criticism or new ideas - cultural barrier with the Russian team. The Russian director/VPs would fail a 360 leadership evaluation because they don't really care about speaking English to you. - ironically, people from NEC are more friendly and approachable than NC

      Pros

      High tech company in a growing and exciting space.

      Cons

      Focus is on sales, not necessarily on the client. Leadership is arrogant; doesn't listen to ideas from within the company. "My way or the the highway." Upper level leadership is selected not on capabilities or expertise, but on how deeply they follow the (misdirected) mission. No organized strategic plan against which the company operates. NetCracker simply follows a mantra that, once they've identified a sales opportunity even loosely related to what their core competencies are, they'll put all resources behind making it happen. Not a terribly efficient model.
