Pros

Working there really is better than any other place I have worked. Great benefits, great work/life balance, in an environment where you work with the best of the best. Pay is amazing.

Cons

They want you to have good judgement which really means guess exactly how we want you to act and behave and if you don’t you get fired and we’ll send out an email to everybody with why you were fired.

Pros

Exposure to a lot of interesting challenges. No day is the same. A lot of room for professional and personal growth. Some amazing colleagues who work selflessly and make the team an awesome place to contribute to.

Cons

Long hours. Priorities change frequently. Constant pivoting can lead to change fatigue. Not everyone embraces the company values the same way. Some people take advantage of the 'freedom' part of Freedom and Responsibility. Culture differences between LA and LG offices.

Pros

Being apart of the teams that enable films and shows to be made and released on Netflix is so exciting. Entertainment is an industry that's ripe for innovation, so I feel lucky to be apart of this space. I've never worked with so many smart, kind, funny, and hardworking people.

Cons

At first, it's really chaotic (but that gets better once you stay at least 4-5 months) and the workload can be really heavy. Also, while everyone on my team has been so supportive and kind, imposter syndrome hits hard at first. Also, there's a perception that Netflix is cut-throat, and while that has not been true at all, it's a little tiring when explaining that to people (maybe it used to be like that on some other teams?)
