My 2 Years at Netflix...

Pros

I just hit my 2 year mark at Netflix, and it has been great thus far. It has been quite the whirlwind and learning experience, and I continue to be challenged every day. The partnerships I have formed are immeasurable, and to be involved with a company changing the way entertainment content is consumed is pretty exciting. Biggest pro in my eyes to working here has been the people. My colleagues truly are "stunning" as the culture deck highlights. Really some of the best in the business, and everyone I collaborate with has a clear passion and drive for their work. Although we move at lightning speed, it pushes me to excel, and not simply coast through the day to day grind.

Cons

Sometimes we forget to celebrate/recognize our major accomplishments because we are always moving towards the next best thing.

Pros

Great coworkers, free netflix , tools available to complete job, swag, easy for call center work, great benefits and pay.

Cons

I'm a good agent, I have great stats and get along well with management and coworker. however, i don't even feel secure in my job. Management really needs to get it together. It feels like high school with how much you hear the cool kids "supervisors" talk about agents openly while others can hear them. Netflix also will say they are "transparent" this is not the case. "Corporate told us, we didn't know" is a poor excuse.

Pros

Great pay, free lunches, flexible hours, no weekends, brilliant co-workers

Cons

I have worked for Netflix for several years and I can honestly say that a lot of the groups now including where I was has started managing up. The transparency is slowly eroding. Opinions are still accepted but disregarded under the guise of management speak. Quality is no longer a standard for shipping products. It's now the need to be perceived as "fast" regardless. Management has run amok and the standard of hiring managers has plummeted. I left on my own accord just so that people don't think it's another disgruntled employee.
