Pros

Netpulse has done a lot of work to really put our team and the company culture first. I really appreciate the openness for new ideas and the strong team environment. We have a very hard working group but have a lot of laughs along the way.

Cons

Netpulse is a fast paced environment with lots of moving parts. Sometimes the weekly all hands meetings are not enough to get clear insight on all of the great progress we make.

Great new direction

Pros

Transition is difficult, and I know much of the complaints for this company comes out of the most recent transition; however, it seems like the most recent pivot is exactly what this company needed to transform it into a great company. There has been a recent effort to transform company culture to make it a great place to work- lunch on Fridays, snacks in the kitchen, office decor upgrades, etc. Furthermore, the recent pivot and focusing of what the company is about has added a new energy and drive to the company that hasn't been there in recent years. New leadership is great- drive yet humble.

Cons

This is definitely a company in transition. As exciting as a lot of this is, there are changes every week, which requires some flexibility day-to-day. Coming into a later stage company that hasn't quite "made it" yet, means putting the same amount of work as if working for a brand new startup without the same equity benefits. Overall benefits package, while complete, is not up to bar as other companies.

Pros

Fun place to work. Mostly cool people, cool products and the office is really nice. Netpulse is the largest mobile SAAS provider for the market and makes private label apps and digital services for the fitness market worldwide. CEO and VP of product are really smart. Just got more money in September from VCs and bought an app company so alot going on now. Unlimited vacation policy.

Cons

CTO is not really engaged and he does not seem to know or care what is going on most of the time. Zero training, coaching or personal growth for engineers. No real executive sponsorship from him on behalf of engineering, but the new director of engineering is pretty good. Need more engineers overall and need more engineers in US as all the apps and APIs are done overseas.
