Prepare to be blindsighted

Pros

Amazing people in the office, they are what make the job bearable. Great office culture, tons of fun activities on a regular basis. Everyone seems self-motivated to work hard

Cons

Management acts as if they are financially stable and profitable based on what's in the pipeline. The fact is, pipelines can be worth $0, but they want the company to think we have it all. Then, before you know it half of the office will be let go because of budget reasons. No matter how hard you work, or the amazing service you've given customers, there is no job security. Even if you are "friends" with your boss. They'll dispose of anyone at any moment.

A lot has needed to change over the last 18 months to get us to our current position. While we disagree on one major point (we believe that our financial position is quite solid), we can understand why you might question it after a reorganization. I'm sorry that you aren't able to continue with us. We wish you the best in your next opportunity.

Inept Executives Ruining a Great Product

Pros

Great office in a cool location. Fun classes like spinning. Some really smart passionate people work there. Great product with no competitors. The fitness industry is fun and growing fast.

Cons

Last year has been continual fits and starts. One month we signed major accounts but then the next month they are laying off large groups of people. The executive team is arrogant but has no idea what they are doing. Strategy changes continuously. You are not a number to them but an asset to be used. All the high performers and the people that made the company great have either quit or been laid off. The only reason they have any positive reviews are because when you first get hired they badger you to write a positive review. Company has gone down the tubes in 2016.

We appreciate you noting the great work environment and team members here at Netpulse. 18 months ago, when we began rebuilding Netpulse as a mobile company, we knew that there were going to be hard, painful decisions to make along the way. In the end, we ended up with a great product in the right market, as you kindly noted in your post. However, taking on an entirely new market means lots of change, sometimes including reorganization, and we're very sorry that you weren't able to continue on with us. We wish you the best in your next opportunity.

- Was a great vision once upon a time - Talented Engineering team (all gone) - Great office location - Yoga and Spin Classes

Cons

- Constant layoffs for the past 18 month - Clueless management - Outsourcing ruling company - "Happy Hour" consists of heavy drinking and co-worker hook-ups.
