Pros

I loved my time at Netrix. It's very fast-paced, and there was always something new for me to learn daily. Co-workers are friendly and respectful. I liked the onboarding schedule; I was given a clear game plan on Day 1, and I appreciated that they set expectations early on.

Cons

The salary was kind of eh, but that goes back to a mistake I made during the interview process. The person interviewing me tried to pull a fast one and, well, let's just say, they asked me a salary question that you really shouldn't ask during an interview. Looking back, I should have been more stern in defending my stance, but nevertheless, it was a learning experience. I think if they paid me better, I would have stayed at the company much longer than I did. Another con that I noticed is the software they use often did not work the way it was intended. Either that or the servers/websites that we use for our jobs would never load or would be down for maintenance.

Empty Promises

100% WFH (when I was employed)

Cons

Poor leadership, hostile work environment, non-stop workload, not enough spare time to learn any new concepts, many MANY empty promises ranging from pay increases, time off, continuing education, and internal promotions. They basically dangle those four things over everyone's head until they realize it's never going to happen and quit.

Zero budget or time allocated for training Project management is minimal Bonus and opportunity commission is highly manipulated and opaque - yes, bonuses are paid, but by what formula? Any attempt to get detail is met with "You're getting a bonus, right?" Spiffs on opportunities and referals are touted but the sales and HR team manage to manipulate the process so they aren't ever paid out.
