Pros

relaxed daily environment, employees try to engage other employees. Plenty of events to join if you have the time

Cons

Entry level salaries are well below market value. People scramble around to solve every problem instead of having well documented SOPs or Compartmentalization. Benefits are advertised as better than they are (BC/BS insurance but not good options, 401k but no matching, lots of PTO but hard to use because lack of shift coverage and cross training). lots of top level management not willing to listen to the needs of employees. Very sales driven company but not support oriented. little to no room for growth.

Pros

Free beer, social committees plan fun activities.

Cons

30 partners and directors, but few leaders... its like game of thrones. Employees are chess pieces to the partners. For the most part, they don't set employees up for success in the long term, but are more focused on constantly trying to do more with less. They have high turnover and 30-40% is from firing people. If they can find a way to be more efficient and manage without you, you'll be gone very quickly. Executive leadership is vindictive. Partners and managers are most at risk. They've been known to acquire companies and then push out the new partners. The safest positions are lower level engineer positions, but those are also the positions that pay the least. They are well below market value with level 1 and 2 engineer positions, and their benefits are not good. They don't develop their employees well. Level 1 engineer roles in the CMC will struggle for upward mobility and will be isolated from the rest of the organization. The company has really good marketing, and they are constantly reinventing themselves, but once you get in, it feels like an empty money making machine for the partners. Also, watch out for nepotism. People have hired and fired based on relationships with partners.
