Pros

Great technology. That’s it. That’s the only pro.

Cons

Dysfunctional leadership, leaders don’t respond to calls or emails, they schedule 1:1 meetings and then don’t show. Arrogance at the upper levels acting like they know what they’re doing, yet the sales and team development are non existent. Do yourself a favor and avoid unless you really need a job. Toxic environment to try and thrive in.

Pros

There were pros... but they quickly went away with time. Some pros that are still there: - They are still pre-IPO at the time of writing this (February 2025) - Fully remote - Taxes are set up to benefit the employee (at least mine were) - People are generally nice

Cons

I worked in the Professional Services side from 2022 to 2023. It was a great time, however, Netskope brought in a whole bunch of new management and new personnel in an attempt to save money (figure out who can get laid off and who can be replaced with a cheaper hire in another country). The company culture went downhill from there. I don't know what it's like now, but a lot of my coworkers left Netskope afterwards for jobs at ZScaler.

Pros

Very many intelligent talented people.

Cons

Dysfunctional culture. Driven by Cliquey groups. Same 5% of the “in” cliques promoting each other, patting each other on the back. Fragmented leadership, lack of unified coherent connected strategy. Company struggled to figure out a profitable business model. Sales cycles very long and expensive. Multiple layoffs, lots of people quitting and leaving to competitors. “Franchise players” with lots of equity quitting and leaving pre IPO, That is a sign that things are going horribly wrong, people have lost faith and are fleeing to better pastures.
