Pros

Travel: MK Quadrant office is located in an ideal location, close to MK Central station. Office: Is very spacious and aesthetically pleasing.

Cons

Micromanagement: The level of micromanaging that has been implemented makes us feel like we have no breathing space. It becomes ironic when they talk about "employee wellbeing" and thus our day to day role is unnecessarily challenging. Line Managers will keep tabs on when we arrive/ leave (this has never been a thing previously) and it feels highly derogatory. No pay rises: Employees have not received a single pay rise in over a couple of years. The excuses given relating to COVID-19 has not stopped senior people receiving competitive bonuses. Moreover, similar Data Technician roles are offered elsewhere with far greater pay. Little career progression: This department, Asset Information Services (AIS), doesn't encourage any networking with other internal departments. No training programmes are offered yet we are still told to complete "performance reviews". We are left with false promises and false hope! Secondment roles: The company offered various secondment positions that are appealing. Yet we have been STRICTLY informed that this role (and AIS department) will not allow employees to take up any positions. Employees are left feeling stagnated and indeed frustrated.

Pros

Great for people who want to work part time or get maximum use of paternity/maternity leave. Very stable job and it is impossible to be made redundant as a case need to built against you which can take up to 1 year. I am not sure if this a good thing! but may be it is for people who don`t have ambitions.

Cons

Very very old school company. The IT system and the processes are from the 19th Century. You will spend more time obtaining approvals for the projects more than the time you execute them. The diversity in the company is not good and there is an element of racism against foreigners. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Also, work environment is toxic where I have worked, blame culture is BIG here.

Pros

There are no Pros at this company.

Cons

This is a "good ol' boys club" and women are treated accordingly. They have just enough women in elevated roles to appear to be an equal opportunity employer but it's a boys club.
