Pros

The working hours seem flexible and the minimum 7 hour day doesn't seem to be enforced. The pay can be good if you can stick at it long enough. I can't think of anything else.

Cons

I found middle management to be poor. They didn't communicated with staff, did not take responsibility or put right bad decisions. There is a culture of bullying and it's not a happy place to work. There are very poor and inefficient decisions made which impact on the travelling public and waste a lot of money.

Disappointing

Pros

Generally well paid for the work you do. They do seem to spend a lot on training; whether its worthwhile or provides value for money is debatable though.

Cons

New starters often complain that they were misled over what the job entailed. No one seems to take responsibility, there is a lot of buck passing. People won't make decisions. Very hierarchical, if you're a grade below someone they seem to ignore you even if you have more experience than them on the issue in hand. Bad management is tolerated, poor managers are not taken to task.
