You get promoted because you have friends in the right position. NR is all about inclusion and hitting targets irrelevant of ability, if you are a woman that's not white you will get promoted to hit statistics irrelevant of competence and this is having a very negative affect on morale and people are doubting their ability which is unfair. There was a major recruitment of Senior Managers 2 or so years ago (and then they froze recruitment) and the company is top heavy with few doers. Senior Managers never get let go only moved around. The Senior Leadership talk alot and deliver little. Its disgusting what senior Managers get paid even when they continually fail. Its a very unhappy, uncomfortable place to work. There is not enough external blood introduced. The pay is pretty poor now relevant to other sectors.

HR departments don’t know anything about basic employment law, they just ask legal. Widespread racism across the organisation that is covered up when reported. The company’s ethics are none existent , anything goes.
