Good learning experience good place to learn people skills good place to learn client skills a good place to learn how to manage multidisciplinary projects

Cons

must be self motivated have a desire to learn a bit laid back re organisation every year salary is not at par with the private sector

There is a good scope of growth and career development. Pension benefits are good too. Flexible work hours is an added bonus.

Cons

Sometimes too bearaucratic... things move slowly in network rail. Unions make it harder for the company to progress as swiftly as other private companies do.
