Pros
The bank has a structured promotion system. They offer a variety of career oportunities and training options. Most of the people I worked with were professional and the bankers at my branch looked out for one another.
Cons
Each branch has the power change the details of the company policies and it can be very incosistent from one branch to another. Some branches are more understanding about sick time and personal issues while others will take adverse action against you for calling in too many times. There is favortism among the management team and you "need to be in good" with someone to get a transfer, manager position or backoffice. Sales goals are set very high with adverse action each month if you don't reach them. Commision on sales is not very good.
