Pros

Good people work at new balance and many people have worked at new balance for many years creating a culture.

Cons

Unfortunately the culture at new balance has been changing and not for the good. Lay offs are occurring to people who have been employed for many years.

Pros

Nice employee discount (50% online, 40% in store). Good starting wage for retail. Opportunities to learn a lot about athletic shoes.

Cons

The particular store I worked for had very poor and catty management. Customers can be the worst. I was bled on, yelled at, and saw disgusting feet.
