Pros

They know how to put up a good show and run adds on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed and other career sites all the time to build up stacks of resumes. They know how to brain wash small builders and make them believe that they have some kind of secret sauce. They know how to operate with the scarcity management style.

Cons

Read their employment agreement and it will tell you all the things you need to know. Listen to their sales pitch when you are going through the interview or the conversion. Sales people do a lots of things like to make sales happen and create great experiences for our buyers. Construction people build homes. Builders buy land/lots, create floor plans, build a beautiful design center, negotiate with many vendors to provide the competitive pricing, hire right employees to build their brand. What is the role of New Home Star? We asked this question and they couldn't come up with any genuine answers. How can a builder believe that this company who doesn't even operate in their market can hire good employees to represent their brand is a mystery.

Pros

What makes New Home Star stand out is the balance of tech, tools, and people. The technology: The platforms we use like SAMi, AI analytics, and training modules are built for new home sales. They don’t just track numbers, they give real insights that help us compete in local markets against big builders. The tools: From playbooks to Realtor programs to marketing frameworks, NHS provides everything you need to succeed. The systems are plug and play but flexible enough to fit the realities of your market. The people: This is where New Home Star shines. The culture is built on teamwork, encouragement, and accountability. You feel like you’re part of something bigger, not just another salesperson in the crowd. The leadership: The leadership here practices servant leadership. They support, guide, and serve the team instead of just dictating from the top. That creates trust, loyalty, and an environment where people grow and thrive. Bottom line: I’ve been in sales and leadership for a long time and this company is different. If you want cutting edge tools, a culture that genuinely cares, and leaders who serve, New Home Star is the best in the business.

Cons

Fast-paced environment that isn’t for everyone. You have to be self-motivated and driven to keep up. The learning curve can feel steep because there are so many tools and systems to master at first. Success depends heavily on your ability to embrace change and adapt quickly. Those who resist new processes or technology may struggle.
