Pros

Training for NHS was very thorough but it was done all on my own without any help or over sight from my director. The videos and the training manual that go with it are good.

Cons

They gave me the run around for months. After training they didn’t have a neighborhood for me to be placed into. They got fired from the builder that the contract was with. Overall so unorganized and the director who’s in charge is not fit to be in that role.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your time with New Home Star. It is our number one core value of the company to provide excellent careers for our people, which includes the world class training you mentioned as well as giving you an opportunity to pursue excellence post training. In the real estate market, specifically new home construction, there are a lot of moving parts and there are instances where timing doesn't always work out 100% perfectly with new communities or land becoming available. However, we always do our best to ensure every member of our sales team is engaged and can eventually get placed into a community to realize their excellent career with New Home Star.

Pros

Great commission, Sales Training, Career Path. For anyone that is willing to commit to a company long-term, the longevity and income is there. The company does a great job of defining a "sales funnel" but allowing agent to tailor aspects to their own personality type. I don't think that I've met a person at the company that didn't root for the success of others and offer to assist in any way possible.

Cons

You truly have to buy into the vision of the company to reap the rewards of the process. Some agents that are unable/unwilling to commit to the time and culture early will find the job overbearing and will see the coaching as a burden rather than an opportunity to grow. Like most jobs, it's not for everyone.
